Not an estimate.
A reading.
RoofOS™ keeps a record of your roof and reads what it actually does — the power it makes and the rain it catches — so what you are told can be checked against what happened.
A roof is sold on an estimate. After that, nobody checks.
The yield on the proposal, the litres on the datasheet, the number in the sustainability report — each began as a calculation. Once the roof is up, the calculation is rarely tested against the roof.
You were promised a number
Solar output and rainwater capture are quoted before the roof exists. Months later there is no simple way to see whether the roof is doing what was said.
A fault looks like a quiet month
A shaded panel, a clogged filter, a tank that never fills — without a reading, these pass as ordinary variation until the bill or the audit says otherwise.
Reports need a number you can defend
Organisations that must report on energy and water are asked where each figure came from. “Our estimate” is a thin answer.
Three layers. One roof.
Each layer does one job. Together they turn a roof from something you were told about into something you can look at.
Praṇālī™
Every roof is put on file — what it is, how it was installed, what was agreed — so the facts about your roof live in one place and stay with it.
Sarathi™
The intelligence layer. It reads the record and the readings, explains what they mean in plain words, and tells you when something needs attention.
Tulā™
The measuring layer. Readings come from the roof itself, not from a model of it, and arrive with a clear state: verified, pending, or needing attention.
Named for Tulābhāra, when Krishna was weighed against gold and one tulasi leaf, offered with love, balanced the scale. A true measure is honest, not large.
Its monthly statement is the Pūrṇimā Reading™.
One shape. Three meanings.
The RoofOS™ mark is the Govardhan Parikrama. It was drawn to say the whole idea without a second element, and to be simple enough that a child could draw it from memory.
The wordmark sets “Roof” in navy and “OS” in gold: the roof is the company’s, the operating system is the promise. The mark holds at very small sizes, on a QR plate and as an app icon. This reading of the mark is our own interpretation.
How RoofOS™ looks on your phone.
Calm screens in the Sākṣī colours: navy for night, gold for a measured reading, teal for verified, kumkum for attention. Pankhi greets you and keeps you company when there is nothing to show — she never sits beside a reading.
Layout previews. Values are samples, not real readings.
A reading, every full moon.
Once a month, on Pūrṇimā, Tulā™ closes the month and RoofOS™ issues the Pūrṇimā Reading™: one statement for your roof, kept in your Praṇālī™ record. A fall in output becomes a service visit, not a surprise.
Layout preview. No values are shown because none are measured yet.
Every figure says how sure it is.
RoofOS™ never shows a bare number. Each reading carries its state, and a reading that has not arrived is shown as pending — never filled in with a guess.
One roof, three kinds of reader.
The homeowner
See what your roof is doing for you, and know early when it needs a visit.
Your roof, on recordThe factory or commercial owner
Large roofs carry real power and water. Know what they are delivering, and keep the record in one place.
OperationsThe organisation that reports
When a figure has to be defended to a regulator, an auditor or an investor, it helps to have a reading behind it.
ReportingRoofing you can trust.
RoofOS™ is built by AVMY Roofs Private Limited, which roll forms, supplies and installs roofing. A roof depends on the sheet and on the hands that fit it — RoofOS™ is how that work is recorded and read.
